Back to school shopping 🖍
I remember during school shopping season, the supermarket had these “supply requirements” flyers with all these different stuff you need for the school year and most of it was never used.Though, the portable electric sharpener was a must. U were kool😎

Its crazy, I used to get odd looks and sometimes need special permission when I would bring my laptop to use for notes, back in high school. Now its almost common practice to see someone bring a tablet or laptop for note taking. Its only been less than a decade too. (Now I suddenly feel old and I am my late 20s!)

I never required to bring a computer from elementary school to college. Having a laptop would be convenient during college but no teachers ever forced us to buy a computer for school. Computer stuff is simply done in computer labs.

I remember when in school, the only thing you would see are either manual hand sharpeners or you would use the crank sharpener mounted on the classroom wall.

Sweetie a simple fact your computer is already old the day you buy it
You say you’ve had your desktop for over a week? Throw that junk away man, it’s an antique!

@RDDash
Why does everyone think that? I’ve built my own PC, and helped my friends build there’s too, it’s freaking expensive. The only way I can see it being cheaper is buying crap parts from shady vendors that will inevitably fail and are probably the leading cause behind personal PC build horror stories.
I don’t know if it’s true anymore now that crypto and NFTs are finally starting to crash, but part for part, it was cheaper to get a preassembled machine for awhile. You’d have a warranty on the whole machine at least.
