“Over the mountains and through the clouds to Grandmare’s house we go” is a reference to “Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go”.
And Grandma Figgy references figgy pudding, a traditional Christmas treat.

“Pudding”.
Interesting info about figgy pudding I found…
“Figee” was a dish of fish and curds, which was named “figé” in Old French, meaning “curdled” (the past participle of the Old French “figer”). But it too came to mean a “figgy” dish, involving cooked figs, boiled in wine or otherwise.
Sounds better that the pudding Twilight made in Best Gift Ever.
