It gets dark. Very dark. Arguably unnecessarily dark. But it gets better. Then worse. Then better again. Also, I’m pretty sure the word count currently exceeds that of War and Peace.
 
In short, up to you. If you liked Fallout: Equestria, you’ll probably like Project Horizons.

Yeah, I was almost finished with FoE. I had about 3 chapters left, but I never finished. It was so damn long. While it is very good, some parts of it were difficult to picture in my head. I also didn’t like the shipping between Lilpip and Homage. Not that I have a problem with lesbians, but lesbian shipping is so damn common.
 
It’s remarkable that it’s one of the few fics that I’ve read with swearing that had the word “fuck” instead of “buck”. I can’t stand it when “buck” takes the place of “fuck”. It’s stupid, and it’s as if Bronies don’t have thick skin when it comes to strong language.

I thought this would be related in some way to Deus Ex… disappointed…

It goes on forever and frequently spins its wheels. It’s good up until immediately after Blackjack kills Deus, so I recommend not reading after that. It gets needlessly horrible without any real point to anything for about fifteen chapters, which is way too many.
