it’s the hands. he said drawing realistic skinny girl fingers on anthro is hard work that’s why he changed it to claws. other than that it’s the furry style long snout that looks like a semi truck but that’s not as serious as claw hands

I never understood why people complain about Jay’s anatomy so much. So what if it isn’t realistic? Why SHOULD it be realistic when he draws CARTOONY ponies? Seriously, since when do cartoons need to have realistic anatomy.

Boo-fucking-hoo, an artist doesn’t use 100% accurate anatomy. Who gives a flying fuck? Not everything needs to be super realistic with anatomy and proportions. Find something better to do than complain about pointless things.

I talked to Jay at BronyCon and got into a discussion about his style change. Personally, I don’t mind it. It’s just evolution of the artist, trying new things, seeing how things turn out and if they don’t go well, you can always devolve back to what you started with and try it again.
