No, I’m not judging it before I see it, I thought I would hate MMC before I saw it but I didn’t place judgment on it until I saw it.
It wasn’t as bad a thing as I thought it would be but it’s not perfect, and there are others I think the same of.
I just can’t stand people going around going “this is going to bad, i hate it without seeing it and I’m going to complain about it” and I only you the gif as I was trying to talk rationally to you but all you did was turn it to the negative no matter what.
And you keep eating up whatever they do to the show because you apparently think “its ponies so its perfect no matter what” and respond to others with that overused and shitty gif
Again: marketing. Hasbro believes they’ll sell more toys of pretty purple pegacorn Princess Twilight Sparkle™ than they would of adventurous bookworm Twilight Sparkle, so that’s what marketing emphasizes. Just like marketing emphasized the “royal wedding” aspects of “A Canterlot Wedding”, even though the actual wedding itself made up only a small part of that two-parter.
The people running the show are not the same as the people putting out the synopsis, or the ads, or the toys, you can’t say that one of then useing it all the time means to other are too, your just acting like someone butthurt over Twi being an alicorn princess, you take something small and keep going “this happened, it’s bad, don’t like it”

Twilight with wings = “Princess Twilight” tag

And they only said it once or twice in the show, the new season hasn’t started yet so you can’t say it is being said all the time there.

When was the last time they called her twilight? Even here most images say “princess twilight” instead of the normal Twilight Sparkle
Just like how marketing really harped on the “fantasy royal wedding” angle when promoting “A Canterlot Wedding”. Whatever flaws those episodes had, they were at least something significantly greater than just a pretty princess wedding special.
