It was barely a spoiler, IMO. This one is a great whopper of a spoiler. Twilight becomes an alicorn.
The other one is just Twilight is wearing a torn black outfit and an eyepatch and staring at the camera for some reason. More of a teaser than a spoiler.
It’s not like the old spoilerpic (future twilight) wasn’t technically a spoiler either. Seriously though, if anything I think this is less of a spoiler than that one.

And personally, I thought the context made it perfectly clear who WatermelonRat was referring to. As someone who was willing to give Twilicorn and EqG a chance, I never felt that WR was trying to speak for me in that comment.
