Poor Dash. What comes to mind is her being stuck in an uncaring family in our world living with a spoiled kid and being separated from the ones she loves. Looking out of the window at the aluminum-sided condos outside under a gloomy overcast day with no sign of rescue in sight, fearing that she may be living there until she’s old and gray.

basically everyone of us when we feel sad and someone tries to cheer us up. the key word being “tries”
