I don’t think she sunbathes, I just think she’s naturally darker skinned, because that happens among siblings you know.

My only issue with it is that she’s always out at night, never during day. There’s no time for her to tan, so wouldn’t she be pale?
Sure, pony-luna is darker, but that’s fur. If anything, Celestia would be more tanned than her sister, considering she’s always fooling with the sun.
The Tan Luna/Pale Celestia Bed picture was actually my commission. And Yeah I like Luna tan, makes sense to me. I personally don’t think you need to change anything, but if enough people call foul for some stupid reason you may as well change it.
I didn’t know that the bed picture was actually a commission and I really just mainly based off Luna by that picture. I’ll go back and change it if anything. But I do have to say coloring tanned Luna was very fun.

I would think that since Luna stays in all day while Celestia goes out in the sun, Celly would be the tanned that bahaha
And I’m slightly proud of myself for making this comment while only mentioning the padding jokes I coulda made.
I can only think it’s because pony Luna’s blue fur is a dark colour.

well Scropdk’s Luna actually isn’t that much tanned (unless someone commission it like on that bed picture)
only his NMM have a bit more tanned skin tone:
so I just guess it’s either Liger own idea/cannon or he just made mistake/didn’t do his “homework” ;p
