The bar explodes from PURE AWESOMENESS!!! Or, as Elfman puts it: PURE MANLINESS!!
(Seriously, why does he think everything is manly? Why does he call some women manly just because of how awesome they are??? It makes no sense!)

Trigger discipline is just the term, I don’t get why that even sets you off? And if you recognize it as proper gun safety and the implications behind it(like killing somebody on complete accident), why are you mad?

And it is a big thing that can take time for it to be reflexive to new shooters. It is a “discipline,” hence the term. One can tell you to keep your finger on the trigger guard, and you may keep that in mind, but there’s a point to where it’s something you don’t think, you just do. This takes several times of practice until it becomes subconscious.

I also don’t get your conception with what you are saying, it seems you think that a safety will ALWAYS work. How do you know when the safety will malfunction? You don’t, it’s just that simple. A safety that has worked for several years could all of a sudden stop working all together and you wouldn’t know until a terrible accident happened with poor trigger discipline.

@trunsako
If the gun has a malfunction WHY THE HECK ARE YOU USING IT?!

@jjtheduder
If you even point a gun at my face, you’re asking for a beatdown. Don’t care if I suck at throwing punches. Though I gotta admit, I’m a handgun nut and my dad wishes he could own an SVD Dragunov (just for display, not for firing I think).

But… I keep thinking you guys get triggered by that. Sure it’s a safety hazard, but so is driving while talking on the phone, and that doesn’t stop people from doing dumb shtick. (because I can’t swear on this rating without the vulgar tag)

Also, one thing that bothers the heck out of me (and the main reason for this outburst) is calling it a discipline when it’s more of a rule that can belong to a code of conduct (and that is an actual discipline). Seriously, you guys make it sound like a big thing that takes years to learn when it’s the simplest gun safety rule of all: “KEEP THE FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER”
jjtheduder

@DJSoru
That… is so stupid. So, if I have the safety on, you’re just fine with me pointing a loaded gun at your face with my finger on the trigger? Trigger discipline means not touching the trigger until you;‘re ready to fire, and it’s one of the most basic of all firearm safety lessons.

If I may, I get pissed off when whiny politicians, gun-grabbers, and anti-second amendment nuts complain and scream about guns when they obviously have no idea how to properly handle one. Now, if you’re NOT one of the above, then I apologize. But if you are, maybe you should try and learn about something before you criticize the people who know what they’re talking about.
DJSoru

@trunsako
I get pissed off every time I hear a cop, military, or second-ammendment gun nut complaining about trigger discipline. Don’t military-grade weapons have a safety switch like the civillian-grade ones? if yes, just keep that thing on!

As the story goes, Scoots is actually the only one left who doesn’t have her mark, even after so many years. The lack of a cutie mark and her inability to fly is what ultimately led to the disbanding of the CMC when they were early teens, after poor Scooty left in a fit of rage. It also marked the beginning of a very dark and painful life ahead for her.
