I read a fanfic where Rarity makes a deal with Nightmare for Life and Youth to keep on living with Spike (who was her husband) in return for being Nightmare’s Vessel. it works, and Nightmare got the short end of the stick with… well, Spike and Rarity’s lovemaking.
