Well yes, about two dozen episodes.  
On a more serious note, this right here may be not the ending of the episode - and it surely isn’t - but it is the ending to a very important plot point. This is why it creates such a reaction.

I’m someone who doesn’t really give a shit about spoilers (I think a good story will still be good regardless) but the fact that they just blatantly show the ending like this (even if it was predictable from the start) is really strange. The fact they do this all the time makes it even stranger IMO.

So yes, they did spoil the ending. Of course we knew how it was going to end, but that they actually show it, month in advance, now that requires stupidity.
