There sure is an awful lot of unnecessary Rule #7 action goin’ on in here for a GIF that’s pretty much the antithesis of that sort of thing. I need to go ask my grandmother what the German word is for “not actually surprised but still disappointed”.
There’s no need to state the obvious. Otherwise there’d be no need to mention the many beautiful pieces that I’ve refused to fap to by virtue that they’re just too pretty.
Seriously, though. I’ve seen quite a bit of porn that spikes my artistic interest waaaaaaay more than my pervy interest. And I’m always thankful for seeing it too.
If you click on the “Reply” link in the upper-right corner of the comment to which you’re replying, it’ll insert a bit of code in the comment box that will make the “@username” a type of link that will display the comment being replied to. (Try clicking on the blue “@Lunalove” you see at the beginning of this comment to see what I’m talking about.)
Also, there’s a cleaner method of linking to external web pages, like so:
…which is why one would need to apply for a course at the Ernest Pythagoras University of Advanced Sarcasm, where Professor Doug Piranha has a chair in dramatic irony, metaphor, bathos, puns, parody, litotes and… satire. And where, if you’re a naughty boy, Doug’s Brother, Dr. Dinsdale (Ph.D in Putting the Boot in the Groin, and Various Extreme Violence) will screw your pelvis to said chair (if a cake stand isn’t available; that, or simply nail your head to the floor). @Eeveeinheat
When I call that glorious, I speak in terms of the art quality, not the ‘hotness level’. If you like, you could check my favorites to see where my particular explicit interests lie.
@Background Pony #EA6F
That’s exactly what I was trying to say. External interests are what end up driving a number of people to vote the way they do.
@Brokedownandmadeone
It is still, at least, based on the art itself. If someone were upvoting not because they liked the particular drawing, but to try to encourage an artist to draw more porn (or downvoting to discourage such), then that would be taking external factors into consideration.
@The Smiling Pony
Not exactly what I meant. I’m well aware it counts as art. Hell, I think this is a glorious piece (explicit) >>785882.
But then there are images which, in my opinion, do not deserve the upvotes they end up getting. But they get them on the basis of being pornographic in nature. Yet if it were drawn in the same style/quality, it wouldn’t have gotten near as many.
@SeraphimDawn
Sarcasm isn’t easily conveyed over text and with a statement like yours, it’s really hard to tell. Thanks for clarifying.
@Background Pony #EA6F >voting based on the art itself
If that were to actually happen, several pictures wouldn’t have the large amount of upvotes they have. The reason some of them do? Porn or fetish. That’s all I’ll say on the matter.
