I have the entire “Return of Queen Chrysalis” arc actually. I still don’t think that she killed it, all we had was a sound effect to go by. It could mean anything. I haven’t really seen any other “fatalities” in the comic. (The show makers did confirm that King Sombra did die in the show though.)

And yeah, the comic has some dark things in it at times, (granted the show does to, look at it’s “Nightmare Fuel” page on TVTropes) but still has enough silly/lighter moments to balance that. (Some complained that it was to dark before.)
I suppose it’s nice the comic can do some things the show can’t, (like say giving Luna & Celestia some focus sometimes, something the show will never do likely) but some are debating now if that’s a good, or bad thing, and many fans are getting angry that the comic isn’t meeting their expectations, or matching the style of the show much.

There’s been alot of comic drama lately on this site recently, (almost every discussion of the comic lately on Derpi is mostly negative) and lately many bronies are hating on the comic, and the debates from both sides have been quite heavy. I hope eventually the comics get back on track again soon, and start pleasing fans again.

It's bad. In a good way!

It sounds like you’ve not actually seen the comic. It totally dies. It was unpleasant and shocking. But I also thought “Oh cool this is gonna be able to do things the show can’t!”.

I was right! The comic has darker and mature themes here and there which allow it to be more creative than the show itself. 1 dead kitten is a fine price to pay for such a quality series!

But this is really unrelated to the image here. Sounds like you’re just trying to start drama.

Because it’s a kid’s comic, and I assume she just drained it’s love in a disturbing way, or something. Also, killing isn’t exactly something the changelings do, as they need their “food” alive to feed off their love emotions.

Also, it wasn’t a cat, but one of those odd cutesy “love creatures.” (Is there a name for them?)

Did Queen Chrysalis really kill a cat? Why did Andy Price and Katie Cook put that in a all ages comics book series? Mayu Suzumoto death remind me of that scene.
