I think taste would depend on how dry the person’s tongue is as well, or if they’re overall dehydrated, not to mention the state of their sense of smell. Hard to say, really. :I

I wonder what donuts taste like to people who have fasted for a week. I ate onion broth after water fasting for a day and it, being the first thing I ate then, Was sweet and I can think of it yet. I somehow typed “Tastes’ Rather than “Tasted” so there I am putting it into now in a way.

Oh god, yeah. As someone who has had stomach issues as far back as I can remember, you would absolutely rather put something bland in your stomach first (especially before dairy). A donut, though, probably wouldn’t be that bad, because it is carbs, after all.

I just thought of what I said again and, Depending on the person a donut may not be the choice; I was eating ice cream a few nights ago - Two cups of it - And there went my intestines making all sorts of noises and feeling like what I consider to be abnormal. I wonder if a starving man would be best with some watered down fruit and vegetable juices and a little bread?

Donuts are good though. :| I’m not saying I want to eat them every day but did anyone ever hear of a starving man turning down food?

Everyone else is is trying to give her jewelry, gems, chocolates, perfume, flowers…

Huh, I actually like this one personally. Rarity doesn’t look that bad, and I like her dress. The background stairs, (fancy carpet, railings) and potted plant all look great to me.  
I also like the li’l floating items. (The doughnut is a nice comical touch.)

^And I hope that comment didn’t make me come across as a jerk. I’m an artist too and a big fan of Harwick’s work usually and the rest of this is amazing, but sometimes I just wish he’d put as much time into drawing the characters as he does coloring them.

Yeah, unfortunately as my fellow BGP said her face is still creepy. I think I’ve figured it out: the way her mouth is drawn makes her look like one of those ugly baby dolls that suckle on bottles, or like the Princess Skyla doll that was recently released. It’s entirely her mouth that messes up her face, and he would have been better off drawing her from a different angle, with her head slightly turned to the side. It would’ve looked coy and probably fit the scene better anyway. I can also see why some others have said she looks “old” as well… I think it’s the stray line under her (her right) eye that does it.

If you put the two side-by-side, you’ll notice he redid the brushwork on her face, as a response to complaints that she “looked old”.

So not a dupe? Uh, okay.
