You are twisting the word too dude, I pointed out how this is wrong by one being a name and the other a descriptor and how “Derpy” wasn’t placed as being offensive by Hasbro, it wasn;t that they accepted that it is offensive, t’s called better safe the sorry for not talking a chance no matter what one thinks, and if they did find it offensive they wouldn’t of given the okay for Funko to make the derpy vinyl figure with the name “Derpy” on it.

The nerdy is offensive, because she is stereotypic portrayed thought the negative  
characteristics, then she is called “nerdy delegate”.  
There is delegate 1, delegate 2, and nerdy delegate. And because of this she is just like Nerdy.

You made this post to point out a na,e if the delegate isn’t named “Nerdy delegate” then you point is made moot by that alone as “nerd” has been changed for an insult to a word that is kind of a badge of honor for some people, it’s not reallt offensive anymore.  
As for saying it is offensive now at Hasbro, also wrong, it was changed to deal with a complaint and is now a “better safe then sorry” kind of deal, they don’t want to use it just in case.
 
Also the credits saying ’Nerdy delegate’ don’t mean she is officially that, remember all the unnamed ponies that had like one line and call “Backgound pony” in credits, not what they are officially called.

As I said, THERE IS NERDY in the credits. It is no matter if that is a name or not. What don’t you understand? Besides it can be a name. Who says it can’t?  
Maybe the Derpy wasn’t offensive once, but it’s offensive NOW at Hasbro. The way as it happaned is irrelevant. After Derpy now they refer to a pony officially as ‘Nerdy delegate’. So she is Nerdy. Who is the nerdy? She is Nerdy. Everybody will know it.

And it wasn’t Hasbro that thought of Deroy as offensive, so if that is what you are saying then ya, you are trying to stating shit as they where responding to a complaint when they removed “Derpy” being said in The Last Roundup.

Well, somebody arbitrarily named her Frazzle Rock. But she is just Nerdy at Hasbro. I guess. Has she a figure or card?
 
I thought the ‘op is trying to start shit’ and the ‘op is a duck’ tags are for differet things. Why would you use two tags for one thing?  
I mark images with ‘op is a duck’ if it’s hateful, offensive, bully or mockery somehow. Because the duck isn’t originated from the animal, you know. This had an own meaning in a time.  
I just didn’t understand how is it hateful.

It was added by lunafan22, probably because OP is clearly intending to cause more drama about the horrible, horrible fact that Derpy was credited as “Muffins”.

Who tags it with ‘op is a duck’? Why is the op a duck? You don’t like Muffins? Hasbro likes it. That’s not my fault… Now remove it, becouse I wont, becouse it would be selfish.

The only similarity they have is a symbol/cutie mark being based off the same thing. No similar colors, or hair styles.

Plus, Bon Bon’s design was very clearly based off of the My Little Pony Tales character of the same name, so it’s only natural that people would call her that. But you’re right about the inconsistency.

By that logic then “gay” can be said to anyone as it still means happy, but you can’t as it is now used mostly to be homosexual.  
Trace a word back to whatever you want but if it’s used more as an insult then another one by the larger populace then the one word is seen as an insult where the other isn’t, and ditz is used by and large as an insult, not derp.
