Okay, after watching this finale (spoilers ahead!) Starlight indeed changed time, but Twilight stayed in her alicorn form, she had a cutie mark,and so do Pinkie Pie.. that was strange. the ending was amazing tho! I’m so happy that Starlight reformed! now Starlight has a mission, and she is Twilight’s student.. what if the show will end? what if Twilight will not be the mane character anymore?! we’ll have to wait for 2016..

Every word in that comment arouses me somehow. >:3

An example to surprise with changing time line would be if glimmer Starlight travels to the past to stop the Rainboom. Waiting for Rainbow dash at the right moment to strike with lightning, but minutes before passing Rainbow dash, he realizes that there is a Pegazo distracted in the air which could be derpy. And Starlight glimmer thinks throw a ray that does not ruin his plans until he realizes that if he gets rid of derpy possibly right after doing so will leave the way clear for Rainbow dash, it is happening just then to the Rainboom. Which makes realize that if you leave it as you found derpy distracted, perhaps shock at the right time with Rainbow dash, and so this does not do the will of Rainboom.  
In short Starlight glimmer she realizes she helped lead the Rainboom, and this time not pasaria.Y this is how the timeline is changed, and no one can fix it because she is the reason that there is a Line original time; entertaining course that another unicorn or alicorn is atrvea derpy beating with lightning.  
Thus Twilight would make him difficult to fix the timeline, if you have all the information, in case you remember or alla followed by some time tunnel, but arrive in time to the place of the alleged alteration.  
She would believe that glimmer Starlight intervened when the real problem is that it should have done, so our alicorn would happen is seeking the answer to that was what changed everything.

Oh the timeline is altered, and delete Equestria girls. For if, as in X-Men: Days of Future Past; they did to clear X-Men: The Last Stand.
