At the end of the day, more power to you. We all got different tastes and perspectives on the show’s usage of characters and that’s fine. I personally enjoy the usage of Both the main cast AND the supporting/minor cast. I think tat it’s an alright concept that others characters get a chance to get some relvant camera time. Kinda keeps things vary from time to time. I’m not telling nobody how they should feel because a mid hiatus started on an episode with a character that he/she isn’t fond of. That’s fine if you hate Luna. No one can force you to like a character that you don’t and I get that. In my opinion, I just welcomed the episode since it has been a good 3 years since she last had one. But I understanc your upset with how the 5th season has gone since your favs haven’t gotten a chance to be showcased. I feel the same way too, but I had other characters who I enjoy get some exposure in that first half. So while my judgement of the season is different than yours, I can understand your feelings about Season 5.
I will agree with you on the Rarity thing though. It’s gotten to the point of being ridiculous and absurd. She has some good character traits and is underrated. As a HUGE AJ fan, I can understand your defense to her. I get the same way over Applejack and those two get the least love in this fandom for idiotic reasons, which is absolutely pathetic.
So in the end, I just keeping it real. Don’t worry about thinking that I’m stalking you. Just happened to see you on many posts. This isn’t the first time I’ve spoke to you. If you felt like I was attacking you to any degree, then I shall heed. Just felt like I needed to make a case. You’re a logical commenter and I can appreciate that. I mean, I don’t need your help at any rate, but that’s beside the point - I think Magic Sheep sucks for a multitude of reasons and while I’m not a big fan of getting a Luna episode as a way to cap off a half-season that had little focus on the actual main cast, I would be just as pissed (if not moreso) had that episode been about a mane 6 because I felt it to be toxic as fuck and I hated it. I’d rather get an episode I don’t like based on a character I don’t like as opposed to getting an episode I don’t like based around a character that I do, so I wasn’t going to be happy with the episode regardless due to the themes it took on and the way it handled them. Take your persecution complex in that regard elsewhere, it’s not needed with me.
Another thing that played a role in me being unhappy with the hiatus is that it came right before a Rarity episode, although what’s been revealed since then has shown that we’ll be getting a lot of Rarity in the second half of the season and that the second half of S5 is coming a lot sooner than I felt led to believe, so my anger at that has resided a pretty good amount.
Furthermore, I’ve gotten into several arguments over Rarity on this site and none of the ones I can remember involve me calling out that person because I was being a pissy pants about them not liking a character I like, but rather the reasoning they gave to try to call her a bitch was contradicted by what was directly stated and shown in the show itself. I don’t care if they don’t like her and I’m not going to get mad if someone just says “I dun liek rurdee” - but if you’re going to try and give reasons as to why she’s a bad character that I know are proven false by the show itself, I’m going to goddamn say something. People can call me whatever they want in retort, I’ve got pretty thick skin, but I’m going to tell someone “No” when they distort or ignore the show.
One last thing - I never understood why I should be faulted for being unhappy with a hiatus that was announced like, a day before it was to come into affect. I had built up all kinds of hype on the episode after the Luna one and then at the last possible moment I get told “LELELELEL GOTTA WAIT A FEW MORE MONTHS.” Is being unhappy with that so wrong?
So for fuck’s sake, stop following me around and trying to tell people how awful I am already. You can’t call me childish when you’re acting like this, because this is at least the third time I’ve seen you come onto a dormant comment section just to say “hey, he acted childish and he doesn’t like luna” to someone as if I couldn’t see it. Either grow up and cut this shit out or nut up and say it to me instead of around me.
Yeah. MAJOR fan of hers. He got so upset at the fact of the hiatus stopping on a Luna episode, (which we haven’t gotten in about 3 years) that he was shitting on her for now reason. I understand that is his opinion and that’s fine, just came off as childish. Well I’m not a big fan of Rarity, she does deserve more attention. Being a huge Applejack lover myself, I can semi-understand his frustration. Still waiting on that Applejack episode, DHX.
To be honest, she isn’t my favorite, don’t get me wrong she’s a good character and all, I just prefer the others over her. Though I do respect your opinion.

It’s a mid-season hiatus. If you think this was a cake-walk, it’s because it was. Just wait until the hiatus between season 5 and 6.
Especially when compared to the hiatus between Season 4 & 5.
