Yup, I thoroughly enjoyed those movies. I know they are not of the indie variety, but that doesn’t stop successful movies though. :D
Dunno if “kickass” is the term I’d use, but yes, it’s one of my favorite studio logos.

And the first two movies of that series, as well as Puss in Boots, were quite good. Not indie, though.

Oh, I do like them; they’ve had several very good movies, and only a few that I don’t like. And given the direction Disney/Pixar has taken, it hardly seems fair to criticize them for all their sequels anymore.
Not my thing.
I harbor no ill will towards anyone who does enjoy them.
What about the Kung Fu Panda movies, or Road to El Dorado? Prince of Egypt?
I don’t “hate” them. But they don’t get me pumped to see their movies very often, either.
And ran it into the ground.

We can all agree their logo looks kickass, right?
They aren’t doing a very good job, then. WALL·E, Up, Ratatouille, even Inside Out have more of an “indie” vibe than anything Dreamworks has put out.
And failing miserably.
