that and it reminds me of Fraggle Rock, which is a blast form the past like WHOA!

TL;DR: Thanks, Spinelli has a bit of a thing behind it, but yeah, not sure where or why they’re calling her Frazzle Rock, sounds pony but also more like someone’s insulting in-joke at her expense. Course it could just be a nice gesture. My friends and I just stick to Spinelli.
 

 
Long version:
 
Sounds more like that show with the creepy mouse looking gnome puppets in Fraggle Rock. But yeah Spinel is a gem, which happens to match her coat coloring. The extra L and I at the end of Spinel makes it sound like an italian pizzaria which I guess can be a thing if for some reason the mane and tail reminds you of a three cheeses pizza. ;3
 
And Spinel goes well with her love of gems, too. She might look a bit frazzled, but I just wanted my fav new background pony who drinks tea like a normal earth pony to have an equally cute name. Maybe she added the L and I after Spinel to make her sound more mature. More professional? Dunno, still working on how to build her character based on what we’ve been given so far.
 
I’m just happy they brought her back in this episode. She’s such a pretty pony. Love the goofy smile and the quick fixed glasses she wears. Her eyes are like Trixie’s, they don’t have those shines in the eyes, which brings out more of the soft hues in the blues.
 
Again, great design and she actually acts like a pony should. Not picking up cups with one hoof and sipping daintily. She knows what she is and ain’t afraid to be herself. I’m sure she thinks she’d never be able to find her prince, but she’s got a job and she does it well.
 
So glad they didn’t have Rarity remake her completely at the end by removing her glasses and redoing her mane. Instead she showed her how to bring out her natural beauty, to change yourself without removing who you are. It was adorable small if maybe unintentional bit at the end that really made Spinelli shine all the brighter at how wonderful she looked in that dress.
 
Sorry for the wall of text. I’m just glad she’s finally getting some real attention is all. But yeah, Frazzle? I suppose with Rock at the end you can say her edges wear away after awhile, but idk. I don’t see her as a mess. Not sure how that name got started so not sure if it’s just an in-joke at her expense that just happens to sound pony or what.
 
So Spinelli is what I’d use for her in fiction or whenever speaking of the pony.

Spinelli? I haven’t heard that name before. actually kind of clever, though I think Frazzle Rock sounds more like a pony name.

Heart melted when she went from shy and insecure to seeing how pretty she looks in that dress. She smiled so cutely, her and her adorable buck teeth. Favorite moment of the show. Rarity is so awesome for doing that. And more so to the animators for bringing her back into the show! xD

After all, she made the statue Cad was unveiling. I like to think they met each other a few times during the thing’s production.
