I realize it’s not super effective, but I know it is to at least some degree. That’s why I just leave a short n sweet comment and move one, without making a big deal out of it. Because it’s really not. I’ve cried in comment form about how I don’t like a pic in the past - and I regret it, of course - so I actively try not to do that now because I realize how silly it sounds and how dumb it makes me look.  
Also, I feel it’s worth mentioning: there’s this one site mod[? I don’t remember their name] who would always put comments on appropriate images pretty much identical to mine, but it was “please tag futa on female” instead of “canon x oc”. They’re more or less the inspiration for mine. Dunno what that contributes to this topic, but I feel it’s worth mentioning.
 
Also also, we should probably stop with this discussion. We seem to be at an impasse, and we’ve kinda derailed the thread enough already…

It needed to be said. I tried to get the artist to request deletion of the reupload before it got merged, but it’s too late for that. I try to upload pics myself so I tag them right, but I can’t stop others who don’t check to see if it’s already there, and upload anyways just for browny points.

And there’s your issue, even people don’t tag scat, along with many others. Expecting everyone to listen to you lecture them isn’t working. People will miss tags either because they don’t know or because they do not care. Your comments fall on deaf ears all the time, and it’s obviously not working. So now here I am again interacting with you when I tried to do what I could to avoid you specifically like I always do.

the thing is that there doesn’t seem to really be any repeat offenders. as far as i know, I’ve only ever really had to put that comment on one pic per artist. my thought process for the reasoning behind this is that they remember my comment in the back of their mind or something like that, so they [sub]consciously include it. And that makes me happy! I could be horribly wrong, but that’s just how i see it.  
And sorry if my comments come off as offensive or whatever, it just bothers me how i’m constantly forced to see something i really dislike (hence always acting on it) especially since i have the tag blacklisted, so i’m trying to reduce it as much as i can.
 
Edit: i guess you could compare it to having something like scat blacklisted because it makes you physically sick, but several people miss the tag daily. as you can imagine, it’s gonna get on your nerves. This is an extreme example, but i think the point gets across

You’ve posted the same comment well over a hundred times. It’s an absurdly low impact tag that affects thousands of artists and uploaders; your comments aren’t hitting “the 3-4 guys” uploading content under the tag and “educating” them, they’re hitting over a hundred different people and the thousands that have to read them, the former of which will prefer to stop uploading altogether over it, the latter will get annoyed with the spam. After the tenth instance you should have realized to report “repeat offenders” and, honestly, just not get so worked up over cute shipping images.

People will fix tags regardless of if you comment or not. You’re just on this site so damn much that you don’t give anyone enough time to fix the errors.
 
And I have a blacklist on many things, but I can’t blacklist your crummy picture.

Kind of makes me wonder if they are in a large field of sunflower, or did poison joke affected them both and now they’re way smaller than usual.
