I feel this comic series is making very deep inquiries about everyday life. I just feel I am not smart enough to get all of them. It masks them in humor.
That’s part of Spike’s problem here. Without other dudes to talk to, he’s getting all his “guy stuff” info from MTV.
Popular media has a way of feeding back into the real world.
People only TALK like that if they’re socially maladjusted. That doesn’t mean a normal person won’t THINK such things.
I talk to a few but most of them are married so I doubt they’d talk this way. The few who aren’t are as uninterested in such things as myself.
I don’t talk to people outside, so I really wouldn’t know :3
