She’s strong enough to lift another person of roughly her own size with one hand, impressive sure, but nowhere near enough to beat someone with a natural armor that blocks bullets with just her fists. And the whole “earth strength/magic” thing is just fanfiction. Sure, it makes sense that they’re stronger than the other two kinds, but its never been stated to be some kind of magic, nor that significant compared to other creatures. AJ is a prime example of a strong earth pony, and yet while her lower lower body is stronger than RD’s, her upper body isn’t (she lost in hoof-wrestling). Even if Dash is a natural athlete, AJ is no slouch either, and there’s not a “massive” difference between them. If earth ponies had the kind of magical strength you speak off, this wouldn’t be the case.  
Even Big Mac, as strong as he is to lift a stove with one hoove, was struggling to do so.
 
And even then, if we’re going into their race’s innate strengths by ignoring that they’re anthro creatures, then “by logic” this adult Spike should be strong enough to lift buildings since adult dragons are already the size of buildings and should have the corresponding strength. The point is using the “earth pony strength” argument here doesn’t make much sense because we’re comparing her to a dragon. If she gets her earth pony strength, he should get his dragon strength, and no matter the situation, an adult dragon will always have more strength in one claw than an earth pony in his/her whole body. Whatever happens outside these boundaries, its for the sake of plot/comedy.

So not only are Ms. 00284 and this timeline’s version of Fancy Pants completely out of their fuckin’ gourds, they’re idiots. Wouldn’t it be easier and probably more profitable in the long-run to spend those research funds on a machine that could convert all the water around them into drinking water instead of building bombs to kill entire cities of poor people? But seriously, I may not be well versed on the subject of macroeconomics, but mass murder doesn’t really seem to make for a sustainable business plan.
