One of the tech gadgets that would be used in me and a friend’s fic
steampunk-magic style
Crystal Breaching charge
-A crystal, most likely a ruby, carved flat.
-Enchanted by a unicorn with a fire/explosive based spell. And it will glow according to the spell that is enchanted in it
note: only unicorns can place the enchantments as they’re the only ones of the 3 main races to be able to harness magic

- Mechanism on the side functions as timing device and trigger,
- the hammer would hit the charged crystal in the middle causing it to break and release the stored magic
-Timed and can be set - different crystals and different sizes would have different effects
