For what it’s worth, Twilight didn’t know what happened when she got petrified by a Cockatrice, when it was reversed.
On the other hand, Discord was conscious and could hear everything when he was petrified, but he’s well… Discord, and he probably had other means of gaining information as well.
As for Mudbriar, if he was conscious, well, I’d blame him being an earth pony for that? shrug (Twilight was a unicorn at the time)

Both are pretty bad.
Personally, using autism as an insult angers me a lot less than say, using it as an excuse for being a jackass.
I also hate it when people use it as an excuse. :/ alas, I can not do much about it.

I like tall ponies. They’re not all too common but they’re always nice to see once in a while.

Oh yeah. Autism is a spectrum disorder so people do land differently on the spectrum. And even disregarding the spectrum, people are individuals so these sort of things vary from person to person.
