It is possible to a moderator to clear-up that username for me? That username has no activity at all and was created a very long time ago.

I recently came to the site and wanted to create my account but the username I chose was already on use so I created this account, after that while I was reading the site rules I stumble on this at the FAQ:
Someone registered an account name I want to use and isn’t using it, can I have it?
If someone has registered a username that you would like and has had no activity on the site, we will be glad to “clear up” the username so that you may have it in most circumstances. Please contact a moderator for assistance with this.
