Complex Filter

Does anyone know how I can do the complex filter so I won’t see any screencaps for the 4 episode released in Finland?

Why complex filter? Just add the episodes to the simple filter.

Because I just want to hide the screencaps

Add as a new line in your complex hide box:  
(screencap && (spoiler:s08exx OR spoiler:s08exy OR spoiler:s08eyy OR spoiler:s08eyx))
 
Where the x/ys are the episode numbers.

How can I go about making filter exceptions, and can they be done for both spoiler and hidden? As if to say, hide all Applejack tagged images unless they’re also tagged safe, for example. Or hide all Sweetie Belle images unless they’re also tagged with Scootaloo (in an exampled case of not wanting all three cutie Mark Crusaders) I’ve spoken with someone from staff but they redirected me here, which currently has nothing about this, at least that works. Please make sure it works and additionally notify me with a direct message of some sort

You were not redirected here, you were directed towards the forum in general, which has dozens of threads on this topic already. I am not going to send you a direct message; check your notifications or not. I’m also not going to try and explain for the I-don’t-know-how-many-th time how site search syntax and filtering works when we put links explaining how it does everywhere and are simply unable to make it clearer. I was redirected here, by link. I have attempted that, and similar syntax as given to me, and unfortunately they do not work, or at least work properly. That is why I asked here in the first place, no need to get snippy with someone you’ve barely met, if.

The above filter works, I tested it. You’re going to have to explain what it is you’re doing to determine what it is you’re doing wrong.
 
I’ll be as “snippy” as I please with those that present false information and make demands on top of that for those that try to help.

I am inputting the filter format as shared by email to me, as well as the ones you shared, precisely, with different tags. They are not functioning as I have been made aware they should. “Hide all of one, unless both are present.” (Example as shown, hide all pregnancy unless also safe.)

I have also made sure not to be a dumbass and check ahead of time to make sure there are images that match my desired query. Per each test, per syntax, there are multiple, if not many results

The filter you’re currently using does not have any complex hide/spoiler arguments; creating or editing a filter does not automatically switch to it.

I removed the malfunctional parts as they were skewing what was shown. I will easily add back what I have, to an existing or new filter, if it must be proven
