How do I get the star to display?? I am currently using XP system pack 3. Either that, or please revert back to the previous setup. Besides, I like the Neigh button being on there.

Initial thoughts:
- the thumbnail icons are too small now, I need to aim very carefully that I hit the vote/fave button and not the image itself.
- font when tagging is ugly
- transparent background for the auto tagging feature makes them unreadable (blue letters on white backdrop)
- giant red text on the top of the upload page could be a tad shorter - it’s good that it is easy to see, but all the giant red boxes are very discouraging, like you did a bad thing clicking Upload.

Yes. A lot of things changed. Barbeque basically redid all the CSS for the site; what we had up to now was a bunch of hacks slapped onto eachother as the site grew.

Suggestion: you could add the downvote function (or something else) on the right and the “…comments” text on the right, there seems to be room for it.

What do you think your are gaining by removing the neigh/downvote button from the thumbnails!? Good Lord, its as if you are being like facebook and youtube; removing most, if not all overt choices of negativity. Just stupid. Way to become like a damn daycare center.

They didn’t disable downvoting, they’re just preventing you from doing it without even viewing the full image.

If any of the three icons (fave, upvote, comment) should be purple, it should be the Fave count. Right now, it’s more difficult for me to follow which images got new responses like I usually because the purple color makes the number fade a bit into the background; on the other hand, having two positive scores makes it confusing to decide which one you should be looking at quick comparison between all frontpage images now can’t be accomplished in just one quick look.
IF the Fave count became purple and the comment count black, then I think this would ioverall improve.

The button didn’t fit if we added favecounts, and we wanted favecounts visible. If you think an image is bad enough to downvote it, just go to the image and downvote it.

We have the monstrosity I posted above (>>199020). And the highest score on an image right not is above 1400 (>>232093).
