Request: Place tag alias information in the API’s JSON output.
Let’s say you’re searching for the old name of a renamed tag, say “raritits” vs “busty rarity” as an example. If you
search for the old tag name on site, the search result page will have a header box discussing the “busty rarity” tag, along with information about the tag’s aliases and what other tags are implied.
If you then try to view information about the tag via the API (in this case
https://derpibooru.org/tags/297135.json), there are entries for “implied_tags” and “implied_tag_ids”, but there isn’t any information about aliases, even though this information is listed in the HTML version. (There are “aliased_to” and “aliased_to_id” entries in the JSON, but they have null values and I suspect are something different.)
Since this is visible in the HTML pages, I’m requesting that you add the aliases to the tag JSON, too. So in the case of 297135.json, ‘“aliases”:“angel raritits, devil raritits, raritits”’ should be in the tag definition.
