So, first things first: how do you create a gallery? You can click on the “Galleries” item in your user menu (accessed by placing the mouse cursor over your avatar in the top right corner) and choose “New Gallery” on a page that opens. Or you may go to any image, open the “Galleries” menu (located next to upvote, favorite and subscribe buttons) and click “Create new gallery” there.
Your recent galleries appear in your profile below the “Recent Favorites” section. In addition to that, you can browse galleries created by other users that feature a particular image by going to that image’s page and following the “Featured In” link found in the “Galleries” menu.
To personalize a gallery, you can set any existing image as its cover, write a text description, and come up with a custom order for its entries (look for the “Rearrange” button on a gallery page).
Please do note the feature is still in development and may not be fully polished. If you have any suggestions, leave your feedback in this thread — it is most welcome!
When reporting bugs, please specify the browser you are using (preferably including its version; I encourage you to Google how to find this information if you are unsure) and attach a screenshot. This would help us to resolve the issue as fast as possible.
Found a bug, not sure if it’s related to galleries: if you open an image through a gallery, then click the next/prev image button, you’ll get an empty white page.
So is it just for favorited images?
@DeliciousBlackInk
Hi. Can you add option for private galleries?
And it possible rearrange images between pages?
What happens when an image gets added to 100 different galleries and the list gets so long it won’t fit on the screen anymore? Is there going to be a scrollbar?The gallery search seems to be case-sensitive. It probably should be case insensitive.

in my favorites, or even if there was just a button on the thumbnails in search results next to the upvote and favorite buttons. I understand that either of those suggestions are probably a lot of work though, and may not be worth it.Help fund the $15 daily operational cost of Derpibooru - support us financially!
