"Like"/Upvote for Comments

I would like to suggest an upvote feature for comments, something akin to Facebook’s “Like” button. This would be solely to show approval for a comment a user made (maybe showing who “liked” the comment) and increase the overall positive energy of Derpibooru.
 
I’ve had this suggestion in mind for a while but was too shy to suggest it. What do you all think?

If anything it would make people afraid to say their true opinions for fear of not getting as many upvotes, and would in general make the comments section some sort of competition.

I am _ personally_ against qualifying comments.
 
While I agree with the idea of people saying “this comment is good”, upvote means also downvote, even by omission. I don’t want people to feel like their opinions or whatnot are worth less because other people didn’t “like” it.
 
IMO it’s better to just explicitly congratulate people on their comments rather than have some abstract system for it.

upvoting/downvoting comments IS A BAD IDEA, for some reason downvotes can actually depress people while comments can’t, that is why they where removed from EQD.
