MLP Movie Screencaps

I uploaded a couple of screencaps from the MLP movie the other day, then they got deleted. Why did they get deleted? The movie’s been out on DVD/Blu-ray for over a week, so surely it’s safe to post screencaps from the movie.

I guess they’re waiting for physical in Europe or something to be totally safe? I have no idea given that MLP wikia is posting screencaps now since it officially came out.

Movie screencaps are not allowed until/unless stated otherwise.

So I have a question that’s not really movie related, but does involve the issue of screencaps and permissibility of uploads, and I don’t really have anywhere else to put it. Has there been some change to the rules regarding leaked content? I’ve been noticing more things than usual of late falling under the “S08” tag, and I was under the impression anything from the leaks that wasn’t fan art was still forbidden.

Hasbro accidentally some S8 content publicly. We’ll update you when we have everything figured out on it.

Also, as someone who is desperately trying to avoid these all these things until an official release, I can only say I do appreciate the efforts you have gone to, and I hope you will continue to err on the side of extreme caution where those are concerned.

You should filter “leak” and “spoiler:s08”. Don’t rely on everything being deleted, as some things may belong.
