Rumor has it that you fuckers are alright after all. That true? /mlp/ fags allowed/tolerated or not? Our mods suck ass of late and its good to have alternative forums to shitpost on.

Considering we generally frown on the use of the term “fag” even when it just means “guy”, I think you may be on the wrong imageboard… that or whatever’s going on yonder is really extreme.
 
That said, a fair percentage of users here are from /mlp/ and just don’t “act it”; we aren’t going to go around banning people by origin as long as they conform and adapt to local culture.

Thanks, I think. We do have our own rules on this site, some of which may not necessarily be compatible with /mlp/‘s culture. But at the same time, our generals and roleplaying forums are a bit more lightly moderated - just don’t do anything illegal or overly antagonistic and we tend to let things slide a bit more in those forums.
 
One key thing though is that mods here are not anonymous and are accountable. We don’t ban or delete stuff “just because”, and if someone feels something was deleted or they were banned unfairly, there is a very simple appeals process. And if someone feels a rule is too strict or unfair, we’re always willing to discuss it so long as it’s not a rule in place due to legal reasons.

If you have any confusion about the rules, feel free to ask and I’d be happy to clarify anything. NSFW is indeed allowed in the forums, though we ask that:
 
A) Topics that involve NSFW content should have “NSFW” clearly stated in their title  
B) Everyone reading/posting in said topics needs to 18+ years of age, for obvious reasons  
C) If a topic is not labeled as NSFW, please don’t try shifting it to a NSFW discussion, so that people not into that kinda thing don’t inadvertently see it.

To clarify - you need an account to create new threads, but you don’t need one to reply to them. You can thank a horde of South Korean spam bots for that specific requirement.
 
Also, if there’s enough demand for such a thing, I’d have no problem adding a forum with more relaxed rules than the rest of the site (or adjusting the rules for the Generals forum) to better accommodate /mlp/‘s culture. There would be some limits, as some of our rules exist more for legal reasons and such, but if people want it, we’d be willing to work together to find a solution.

Been years since any mod gave a rat’s ass to what I had to say. Feels strange man. Anyway its nice that you are flexible on this. If shit gets worse back on 4chins I’ll definitely gather some retards and ask for a board on here (if the offer still stands by then). The thing is alot of autists are angry at the mods on /mlp/ and because of it some have started to spread out a bit. Some have gone to ponychan, infinitychan /pone/, neo nazi /mlpol/ etc etc. Its a weird situation cus “we” never rly look for allies or new boards, but shit is dire for some of us.
 
The only problem that I can see is rules like this (from general rules):  
“Don’t be an asshole” refers to:  
→ Don’t call people ’faggots’, ’cucks’, ’kikes’, ’nazis’, ’fucktards’, ’assmunchers’, ’cockgarglers’. long etc.
 
This unsavory rule goes against the basic freedom of speech that most of us are used to. It isn’t good for drama and “we” need alot of drama and abuse to function properly. Its how “we” sustain ourselves more or less. Everything else is great methinks.
 
Derpibooru seems to be a more of a viable and respectable place than initially expected. I’m legit surprised. Ty based mod.

Of course! We do care about what people think. This is a community site after all, and if we ignore what the community wants, then ultimately we’ll end up without one. That’s not really desirable for anyone, so we do listen.
 
Like I said, if there’s enough demand for a forum where the rules are more relaxed and people are allowed to call each other assmunching fucktards, that’s not outside the realm of possibility. We’d be very open to discussing that. Though the thing would be that such behavior would only be allowed inside that forum - if you go to some random image or another forum and start calling people that, that may be more of an issue.
 
And do keep in mind too that if such a board is created - not everyone would come here. Some people may be happy staying on /mlp/, some may choose to go to /pone/ instead, some may choose to only use Discord and ignore chans/boorus altogether. Just something to keep in mind, as you may likely end up with a smaller community.
