I’d like to report a bug, a moth perhaps?
 
So I noticed several images were missing tags, so I opened them in firefox tabs. Went down the line editing tags and on the last image HAL showed up when I submitted my changes.
 
I get: Sorry, I’m afraid I can’t let you do that, PlanetKiller. You probably need to be logged in; if you’re logged in and seeing this, you might’ve hit a bug.
 
I am logged in, but here’s the best part.  
The front page loaded under the image I was editing, but doesn’t show thumbnails.  
The comment section is still at the bottom.  
Maybe I tagged a tag that got tagged before I could tag the tag but didn’t show because I didn’t refresh.

That usually happens when an image got deleted or merged.

It appears >>1126647 didn’t survive the latest server migration…

The issue with images not scaling seems to exist on forum search pages too.

Are you guys doing a maintenance right now?  
Because I keep getting that “Derpibooru Down” page on random intervals.

Fortunately that only happens on days that end in Y.

I think the price range search on the Commissions page isn’t working as intended; I tried to search for prices up to 10$, and yet stuff way above that range was still showing up.

I thought the same at first, but then I realized: It’s showing you people who have something for sale at the 10$ range.  
Example: An artist has lineart at 10$, and then everything else above it. You’ll see their listing for the 10$ lineart.
 
A way to help specify the search is to select a specific commission type. Like “fully shaded”. Then you’ll know that it’s the Fully shaded art that isn’t exceeding 10$, even if they have other listings above that price.
 
But otherwise the search is letting you know that they have at least one listing within the price range you set.

When I was designing this, I wasn’t sure if I should make the price search the overall price, or search for any listing that had at least one item in that price range.
 
After talking with site staff and a number of artists who sell commissions, I went with the latter approach, as more people preferred that method.

I see, but in this case, the way the search is currently designed doesn’t make that clear. Some kind of quick explanation being added would clear up a lot of confusion.

Something on this site is setting off my anti-virus every once and while.
 
Not sure what it is, but when it happens the thumbnails suddenly fail to load for a brief minute. I’m betting it’s something on my end, but I am curious to see if this has happened to others.

I’d check to make sure you don’t have any rogue browser extensions or plugins.

What exactly are you doing when it pops up? The more specific you could be, the better

I open up Avast and scan my computer. It usually picks up one bit of malware.

But that’s you’re whole computer. That doesn’t necessarily mean any potential malware came from Derpibooru - it could’ve came from another site and just evade detection until the scan. Especially if you only have on-read/on-access scanning enabled.

The pop up message explicitly lists the site as the source. Specifically, it seems to be a thumbnail file, if I recall the last popup.

I’ve done it multiple times, whenever I get an alert.
 
For some reason, this isn’t the only site causing my anti-virus software to act up. There’s also Twitter.

Does your AV software log previous sources? Could you give me the URL of the “source” thumbnail?
 
Please send it to me via PM (probably would be a good idea to pm it to byte[] as well, noting what it is). If there is something legit (I doubt it, but stranger things have happened), I don’t want people inadvertently going to it.

Macs do not suffer as much from the poor design decisions of Windows AV, but common sense will go a long way toward preventing you from getting malware on Macs, because they are far more secure by default.

So, while in most of the images, the bug went away, in >>1322622, the bug still exists; in this case, if somebody tries to tag anything, it’ll just return “Image can’t be blank”. Repairing doesn’t work either.
