Not really a site’s bug, more like a network issue, so here’s my ( and a few other’s ) issue: the time for the main page or any page to load is incredibly long. I remember a few years ago Derpibooru was fast. Really fast (compared to its predecessor notably) I did suspect it was an ISP issue rather than a long script.
I got a bit of technical info, as it varies from where I browse from. sometimes a wifi hotspot, an hotel, a friend’s home, and of course mine at home. My ISP’s Free® (*not to be confused with freedom)
Have some technical stuff, i guess the more you have data the more it helps. All evaluated with other sites (Deviantart, Twitter, Facebook, 8chan, Youtube) for comparison.
- Free/Proxad (88.163.. near Tavaux with a ping of 111ms on both derpibooru and derpicdn, and 82.226.., Dijon, France, quite slow)
- SFR/Numéricable ( 77.152.. I recall it worked quite normally on a WiFi+laptop. near Tassenières, France.)
- Bluewin (81.62.. near Lausanne, WiFi T61p, Win64, Firefox, working actually fine)
- Telnet (94.224.., a hotel in Grimbergen, same T61p, Win64, Firefox: Sloow, cannot post)
- Orange (90.96.., Besancon, France. Loads relatively fast but not for a FTTH connection)
- Sunrise (89.217.., Geneva, Swiss, T60 on Linux: average)
Tested in local ( Free/Proxad) with:
- Ethernet-connected AMD Ryzen on Win7 X64, 16Gb RAM on Chromium, Brave, Firefox ; and Debian 8.6 AMD64
- Wifi-connected Thinkpad T61p ( Win7 X64, Firefox 57, PaleMoon) T60 ( Gentoo with Icecat, Firefox 54 )
- Wifi and 4G on a Blackberry Q10, Firefox mobile/Brave, which depends, but also pretty much slow on local.
