On my computer, the featured image is missing, and I did not select to have it gone. Are the mods changing it currently? Or is it something else?

If it’s missing it’s because you’re spoilering or hiding one of the tags.
 
After 4 years of people incessantly bitching and whining and crying about the terrible pain of seeing a spoiler image on the front page for the eternity of three whole days, we decided to just hide the thing for the duration.

I recently tried putting “uploader:circuitmane” on my filter list since I’m not caring for the recent image spam and for whatever reason, it’s not working. Is it impossible to spoiler or hide uploaders?

That explains why I didn’t see some previous featured images. I had Anthro on my Spoiler list (I’ve since removed it for that reason and because I was getting pictures of Capper spoilered).

You need to add “uploader:X” into complex filter fields, not in tags.

Try using uploader_id:223799
 
Using the user ID is better because users can change their names.

LOL I was just about to do that myself. You can also block the brony show, all of the current crop of crap seem to have that tag as well.

What about in the cases of filtering out something that’s in the yearly group collaberation? I notice that last year’s picture was blocked for me. Any way I can block a specific tags/artists while still being able to see certain images like that one?

If it’s spoilered solely by complex filtering, you may just put whole filter into () and add “, -id:X”. Iirc, you can’t “unfilter” images from default tag filter.

The trick seems to be finding the image and commenting on it, then having tags on the image both spoilered and hidden; for whatever reason, the system seems to pick one particular spoilered tag out of a hat and display that one when it shows up in Notifications. I have 9 tags hidden in this year’s collab and 3 spoilered.

You can also unfilter anything with that. I have a huge filter, then specifically allow a subset of artists and anything I’ve upvoted or anything I’ve faved. That way, all I need to do to remove something from my filter is to upvote it.

It seems it’s aliased to its spoiler tag, which it also implies.

yakity-sax gets added twice. I think all of the S8 episode tags should be checked for circular implications.

I can’t see the latest featured image, like it’s not even there and while one of the tags are spoiled, none of them are in my hidden group

Well dang I didn’t mind that and I was more concerned when it disappeared. Goes to figure, doesn’t it? XD

Alright, not sure what’s going on, but the pony emoticons suddenly decided to completely disappear for me as of at least an hour ago. Pretty sure was working fine yesterday.
 
Use Google Chrome and had Tampermonkey in use. I had to install Content Security Policy Override and then weirdly disable it in order for the emoticons to work properly (but if I uninstalled it, they wouldn’t work properly. I got the weird double-text box issue and format of the emoticons weren’t right). So it was mildly annoying but I could bear with it.
 
Now the emoticons don’t even show up. I haven’t done anything to my Internet settings, haven’t wiped anything out, same device, just poof, no more emoticons. Browser doesn’t even know they’re supposed to be here so despite saying they’re installed, there is now a blank nothing and no reconfigured text box to show for it.
 
TamperMonkey also claims there’s no script running, even though it has access to this site and it shows as specifically enabled. Uninstalled and re-installed and still nothing.

It’s really better to report that kind of things in the Emoticons thread, since we didn’t do anything right now _{I believe}.
