Any progress on blocking user uploads/comments? Really going to need it now that EqG has been released…

Do something like that but with mouseovers :V
If possible, implement the doubletap for mobile browsers instead.

Nope, sorry.

That might be a good idea. But no to mouseover, though, I doublt people want to move the mouse around “hotspots” to avoid unintended spoiler uncovering.

User blocking isn’t happening, at least for now. It would require too much of our existing spoiler/hide code to be rewritten, and we only want to do that once when we migrate to client-side filters.

A little link under a thumbnail that links directly to an image would be amazing, especially if you want to open images without fear of adventures in the comments, or worse, untagged .gif parties.

Good idea! I also suggest the opposite, have a link to just open the comments and not load the image, that way you won’t have to reload a huge image just to refresh the comments.

Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but a pool system similar to E621?
So if there are comics that are distanced apart it would be easier to find the bunch.
Not really top priority, but would seem convient.

You really can do the same thing with tags, though. For example, all of Trite Bristle’s comics are tagged ‘heartstrings (comic).’

That only works for comics that have their own tags, and most don’t.
Pools of images are in development - I think K_A got pretty far with it but time has prevented it from making it to our master branch. We’ll chase it up if it’s a relatively straightforward addition.

We’re gonna have to come up with a name for the pool anyway. Just tag it that.
Unless you wanna go with generic names like “C-D’s unnamed comic 1” or whatever.

Couple of useless tags I came across today: hd 1080p 1080
They all refer to the same thing (theoretically, because not even every image in there is actually 1920x1080), but it’s nothing a resolution search can’t fix in the first place anyway.

Can you guys do something about oversized comics? People keep uploading the full res size from dA, which in DP is too small to read at normal and too big when zoom in to full size.

there’s a way to get an ‘optimum sizing’ done based on comic resolutions on other boards I’ve been on, but I’m not sure if the software here would have that, or if it’d need to be made from scratch.

We make most things from scratch, why would that be any different? ¬_¬
Seriously though - we have got most of the new thumbnailing system done, we’re just kicking the tyres before we roll it out. It does include a 1024x4096 “comic” size.

I think there needs to be an option where a user can filter out individual unwanted images by image number without blocking out other images with the same tag(s). Images you filtered out are listed in your “filtered images” as their numbers, in case one, for some reason, decides to unfilter it
