does anyone have any hopes of seeing Magitech/Magic powered technology again in G5.

I’m not sure if Magitech will ever reappear again in G5. Hasbro might do away with it entirely in G5.

Well I’m not sure exactly what G4 magitech you’re thinking of, but do you have any reason to believe this other than “it’s possible?”

So do you mean modern tech, or old-timey tech, or what? Because what kind we see in G5 will obviously depend on it’s setting.

Yes- they fit the setting. (Though I don’t know i i’d call it magitech..) btu we can’t know what technology is appropriate to the G5 setting until we learn more about it - it could be total fantasy, modern or even sci-fi, unlikely as that is.

I’d rather stick with g4 as much as i could in case g5 doesn’t turn out too well

Well it depends how you’re comparing it. Expecting it to match 9 seasons of depth in one is a bit much.

btw someone left this anonymous tip on G5:
 
“The leaks in the emails stated they want to eliminate bronies. G5 will be just be nonsense like G3 and its going to be canceled after perhaps the 2nd or 3rd season.”

Well I don’t know anything about G5, so I can’t answer to the content. I’d like to say no company would be dumb enough to alienate a buying demographic, but sadly they do it all the time.
 
However, as a matter of principle, you shouldn’t trust anonymous online tips. If they’re true they’ll be revealed elsewhere eventually, in if they’re false (a lot more likely) why get worked up over nothing?

i don’t think hasbro has realized what an impact G4 has created for their franchise considering it greatly expanded the demographic.

Oh they’re certainly aware of that. Doesn’t mean they like it, but they may or may not consider it worth trying to make money off.
 
But hey, the beginnings of G4 wasn’t aimed at bronies at all, but that’s what they fell in love with, right?
