Eeyup. Likely going to fail in the long run anyway. Maybe even shorter given that it isn’t targeting a really well known target.

Violence is violence. If any of the people who draw ponies being mutilated or slicing each other with broadswords support this, the hypocrisy is astounding.

Just gonna sound off on this. There is no rape culture here. Rape is one of the most heinous and reviled crimes we have.  
In fact, it is an inexcusable crime in western civ, almost uniquely.
 
There are plenty of examples where felonious behavior can be justified in the culture at large, except rape.
 
If you want rape culture, go to the Congo

Ponies as mouthpieces? How well did her Celestia Against Welfare work? Yeah I’m certain the most of us are going to be have big bowls of popcorn to watch this train wreck.

Aware of that. But those who want to say it exists in the general population forget that violent behavior is continuously created by societies that glorify war. You’ve got people messed up from birth, but they’d do better in a society that wasn’t both violent and viciously supportive of independence.

I am aware this exists in places all around the world. But using cartoon ponies as your mouthpiece in any movement will pretty much get you nowhere. And considering the person behind this movement, I expect many accusations against pony sites and prominent fandom members.

I don’t mind people using ponies as mouthpiece as long as they create some good art to go with it, such as JJ’s gamer Luna. If it’s just some stupid rant that doesn’t come with some decent pone art, it’s really annoying. Unfortunately, not many are artists…

I was meaning using ponies as mouthpieces for more serious things like welfare abuse (which backfired on pinkiepony hilariously considering she used Celestia as her mouth piece) and rape.

I hope she goes ahead with this. I’m a big fan of PARC.

Both are equally stupid, you don’t hide behind cartoon characters when you state an opinion (doubly so if said character committed acts in their show that pretty much go against the message entirely).
