@Princess♠Molestia Mewthree thing seemed amusingly more about the terrible name than anything else. There’s lots of psychic types stronger than Mewtwo but nobody gave a damn because they weren’t exact clones nor pushed as being the next best sue. If mewthree had a different name and a quiet-as-a-fart surprise release I bet there’d have been none at all.

Artists should just stay away from tumblr ATM. There are other ways to get exposure. I find it hilarious how these SJWs barely even garnering attention in avenues outside of their comfy tumblr zone. In these non-tumblr zones, it is the SJWs who are being hounded away.

All that the DWM did was inspire other artists to draw more Molestia pics and troll PP, at the worst have sick asshats harass her.  
Has JJ even bother address this DWM directly? It’s pretty much beneath him.  
The one good thing this debacle has inspired was #SafeSearchWrapUp campaign which has gotten more fans to reach a mutual comprise rather than breaking the fandom apart which seemed to be PP’s actual goal.  
All it boils down to is the truly fanatical cloppers vs PP’s fanatics. Most have moved on to the more positive practical aspiration that BroniesAgainstBullshit has started.
 
Best way to get back at PP is to show that people can find a better way to solution than censoring art, opinions, and types of humor, getting opposing groups to reach a compromise and dwarfing her own group as a pathetic attempt to cause drama.
 
It similar with dealing with a horrible ex, the more you focus on all the bad shit and not move on, the more that ex has influence over you. And nothing gets an ex really burnt up is seeing you doing a hell of a lot better than when it was basically ALL ABOUT HER…
 
TL;DR - forget that crazy chick; move on and let it go.

I don’t think anyone here is necessarily fixated on revenge or payback but what you said is true. Though I think people find it hard to move on from her when there are so many people that come to her defense in the midst of all the nonsense that she does and not call her out on it.
 
For the most part I’ve really stopped caring about this, whole situation but when she says stuff kinda like she did about the Michael Morones situation it’s hard for me to not to say something.
 
Nonetheless I am hopeful that in the midst of all this that people will come to realize there is an unhealthy obsession with exemplifying poor fan behavior on tumblr. Given that there’s more anti-MLP/brony blogs than there are blogs that give accolades to them. And I don’t think for a second that is an indicator of the state of the fandom.
 
There are far too many times when the actions of individuals within the fandom are held as a responsibility as the fandom as a whole,when the fandom is not a singular unit.
 
But I digress, I sincerely hope that she gets some common sense.

I am more concerned that reactionary emotional responses to PP’s action and comments just gives her more fuel/ammo for her to react back. Given the comments sent to her, she thrives for emotional backlash rather than rational call outs (her defenders seem to counter any rational dialogue, given her age and gender as a shield). She wants people to be pissed at her, and more and more people see this. Ignoring her as her other comments (about minorities, the poor, and Michael’s incident) has turned a more and more followers away from her. In other words, she has done herself in by her behavior.
 
Not saying to forget her actions, nor forget how her group behaved, but rather focus what came out of this situation and brought the community closer as a fandom. We keep focusing on the negative, nothing good will come from this, learn what the key issue is and formulate a solution/compromise, then the negativity appears to be greatly trivial.

I think it’s more about the doing than saying. By starting a rival ‘non-brony’ charity she’s basically trying to call bronies on their bluff of being charitable and also turn it into an ‘us vs them’ contest where if MightyMichael beats EqD’s GoFund charity they will basically use it as an opportunity to never shut the fuck up about how ‘useless bronies were even to one of their own’ and how much better they are. PP and PT have turned what should have been a completely mundane boring non-controversial charity drive into a fandom pissing match. What in the fuck is that even?  
And yet they miss the clear irony that the kind of people that would have bullied him irl are sending him money for medical costs just to tarnish others of ‘his kind.’  
This is pretty much worse than Derpy, at least in the morality aspect.

Yeah that’s kind of the problem I have too with this whole movement. They have to “prove” we live up to the stereotype they’ve created about us by crafting what is essentially a giant strawman. They say we’re only trying to make ourselves look good, then turn around and cynically manipulate the emotions of others and use a tragedy to score political points in order to make us look “bad” in comparison to their oh-so-holy superiority?
 
It’s malicious. It’s active hate. Passive hate can be ignored, but active hate - in this case attempting to divide the fandom and deprive the charity drive by directly competing with it - can’t be ignored.
 
In their eyes they win no matter what. If we encourage more donation to the EqD drive, we’re “trying to look good” and “forcing” people to donate. If we donate to their drive out of some sense of fair play, they get to boast about how much better they are.
 
They want to win, so they accuse us of everything they’re doing and then whine that it’s not fair to accuse them of it, because “that doesn’t magically make you innocent”. They’re just bullies, plain and simple.
 
Bullies always cry that it’s not fair when they’re caught out.

Dude, calm the fuck down. Molestia was just a blog, and not even a very good one at that. Yeah, the people behind its takedown were obnoxious, but there really is no good reason to be this angry with them. These people thrive on us getting upset at them and yelling at them, it’s what gives them power. The more we violently react to them, the more credibility we lend their movement.
 
If we keep our heads cool and call them out with reasoned critiques, then they’ll eventually destroy themselves by making it clear to everyone else just how insane they are.

Responding to obnoxious, self-righteous behavior by yelling never helps. Assholes don’t stop being assholes because you yell at them, they stop when everyone else realizes they’re acting insane compared to their opponents. I have a relative involved in municipal politics, and the first thing she’ll tell you is that responding to stupidity with anger is the shortest path to ruin. You have to keep cool and respond calmly and rationally, because then it becomes clear that you have the higher ground. Otherwise you make yourself look awful no matter how right you are.
 
Need I remind you that we still have a pretty bad image thanks to all the death threats and such /mlp/ sent to PinkiePony and her kind?

Trouble with death threats, as they are, is they’re just angry kids splurging words over the internet. And they’ve been flying in all directions (I’ve received several “violence threats”, though mind you not proper death ones).
 
One of the things I’ve realized is if I were to garner the ire of both /mlp/ and the SJW and find both groups at a con or something, from the former I’d fear some prank or someone calling me a fag, at worst; from the latter I’d actually fear for my physical well being.

Pretty much. Any group centered around moral outrage, if finding it lacking, will just pull shit out of its ass until the frenzy is achieved anyway. Right now, they’re throwing shit at the wall to make it stick, so they can find the next source of outrage before the competing charity function peters out.

It’s just kind of irritating that they managed to set it up so that you can’t really be totally against them because that means Michael ‘loses’ potential money. They basically engineered a massive baiting position the way ‘anti-paedo’ politicians craft unassailable freedom-scrubbers with the defense that ‘don’t you waaaaant to protect your children from x? You can’t possibly be against anything that impedes us from protecting teh chirrun!’  
Hell, their entire movement started on that BS notion.
