As much as i can see you have to work really hard to find any active DWM supporter anymore. So except from some stragglers who might pop up here and there, yes it’s over. DWM the movement is no more.

And i think it would be great if the DNP-List had some links to the homepages (Blogs, Artpages ect) of the artist, that we can still see there work…

I wish I had the time to populate the wiki more.
 
Also adding homepages to the DNP list seems like a great idea until you realize internet freedom fighters would use it to go harass the artists for some reason or another in just one click.

You could always make the wiki a community project opening most pages to DB members to write and edit, This will mean more work on moderating things though.

I don’t think we should let this die. When something like this comes at you you don’t just fight it off, you’ve got to chase it back to its hole and stomp it proper.

Oh for celestia’s sake! Let it die. Too many people got hurt over this inane useless argument all ready, kipping it up means that more people get harassed defamed and spammed just so you can have some sense of victory. The people who wanted to censor APM either came around or lost their credibility, and that was the only real problem with DWM. The only thing worth acting against.  
Or are you really afraid of a bunch of tumblr blogers taking personal offense at someone else art?

They have been. They don’t get to stay for very long seeing as how they depict the rape of a character representative of a real person because she tried to take a stand against rape, however misguided it may have been. Don’t post them. They are not content we want here.

Ugh, it does seem dumb and petty, but…  
I just don’t like the idea of letting attackers retreat in good order and rally in peace. It lets them learn lessons and reform their organization to hit you harder next time.  
And they will be back for someone else, with a leadership radicalized by this fight, and using the “safe spaces” they’ve pulled back to as assembly areas for new attacks.
 
I’m not suggesting an all-out spammy-harrassy pissing match. People are too tired, for one thing. But I do think it’s sensible to stay in contact in some low-key way, if only to stop it blindsiding us next time.
 
I’ve seen this kind of thing before, lurking like I always do. The big TVtropes smut-purge was a good example of it–the defenders won a battle, got complacent, and ended up losing the war because the opposition kept working quietly in defeat.
 
I know it’s petty, but I hate losing.
 
@Carcer definitely agreed. They’re worse than useless to both the site and the cause they were supposedly made to support.

You are looking at things in a very distorted way. most people who were into DWM just wanted to discuss it and voice their dislike, an absolutly legitimate position to hold and share. Both sides had people who took thing far out of proportion and used bullying tactics harassment and lies ultimately derailing the movement into reactionary panic.  
You have been played by the troll just as much as people on the other side of the debate.
 
This isn’t like TvTropes because TvTropes made the final decision based on dictations of the advertisement providers, you can’t have adds if they think you have porn.
 
Maybe the radical Social Justice Warriors who called for censoring JJ will try something again, if not some other idiot with a keyboard will find a reason to demonise our fandom or part of it. you can go and Lurk in their blogs and forums and tumblrs to keep an eye on them, but keep things in perspective here. Because if there is one thing that We can attribute to this all debacle is a lack of perspective, this and people inability to hold a civilized intelligent conversation.

I read through pinkieponys tumblr a bit, there was a comment saying the molestia blog has gotten more “consentual”. I don’t remember the blog being blatantly rapey, so i was confused by this. I havent looked at JJs molestia blog except for stuff here and there over the year, are there any examples of downright rape in it? Because ive seen none so far.

Ask Princess Molestia is rather about molesting and about sexual seducing in a pretty awkward manner, then abusing or raping other ponies. Which makes it awkward for the “victims” and so creating humor. It is really more that we laugh about the reactions than about jokes about being raped.  
It uses the same kind of humor that slapstick uses too, in a very awkward way. Just that nobody gets hit in the face, but instead getting a bum shake in the face, or getting sniffed in the private parts.  
Kind of a low and darker/more blackish humor, actually, which isn’t for anyone. But calling it rape seems a bit far fetched.

Last time I checked, the DWM people did pull up a few images of molestation (I’ve gotta give them Molly squeezing Fluttershy’s butt when she’s screaming “no”), but for the most part, they either were unaware of the blog’s “canon” (Twilight having that weird relationship with Trixie and Molestia, meaning “attention” from them was most likely consensual), or there wasn’t enough evidence in the image itself to prove it was molestation. Grabbing a random, off camera pony’s butt might not be molestation, you can’t just assume it wasn’t consensual to prove your point.
