Actually, Anthony C pointed out in one of his videos that JanAnimations didn’t use show assists.
 
It was part of his video involving the drama with KP, of how he actually went through many pages of legal code that people were bringing up to fearmonger which actually had nothing to do with the legality of using show assists. He then makes a bunch of wonderful points, and reveals that he was the one who told KP to use the show assists.

She’s not so bad. I’m still subscribed to her, though she’s been superseded in my heart by big daddy DWK. That guy is hilarious, although he’s been slipping behind as of late.

Rule 63 ponies. I know there’s still there but a lot less. I just didn’t like the fanfic.

The Analysis community and the people who worshiped them. Obviously they’re still around but they’re nowhere near as influential as before. Good riddance I say

I feel you exaggerate a bit. Myself, I still watch and enjoy the videos provided from the analyst community.
 
More, I also feel the analyst community has been going strong even if faces have changed at times or some lost prominence. They all played their part in the fandom, for better or for worse.

I agree with EquestrianScholar, I enjoy analysis videos (Especially from The Brony Notion) and they are still doing analysis stuff. Whether it is good or bad is yet to be seen.

I don’t miss the “grimdark” tumblr ask pony comics. I have no idea why I followed those so obsessively, but I’m glad it was just another cringeworthy phase I grew out of. Don’t get me wrong, one of my favorite fanfics is a grimdark alternate universe romp, I’m just glad I’m not into edgy sadomasochistic gore stuff and the mindset (specifically the special tumblr brand of it) that goes with it.
 
Speaking of fanfics, I also don’t miss “Your fanfic is no longer canon! You’d better go back and revise it to be 100% show-accurate, or I’ll harp on you for having ‘headcanons’!” I can’t remember which one, but I’m pretty sure there was at least one fic I was reading that got scrapped midway by the writer, due to the show making it “obsolete”.

Being called a Hasdrone for having the audacity to enjoy the show.

Hearing everyone talk about how horrible and downhill the shows gone.

Honestly I actually enjoyed a few of those blogs, the only frustrating part I had is when they either didn’t go anywhere just all of a sudden stopped.
 
For example, with Lil’ Miss Rarity I found fascinating though with the help of a famfiction which tied the events together and with how many of the blogs were being mixed/crossed over/bled into each other. Where perhaps unexpected or even appeared lore and world building was created.

The “Love and Tolerate” mantra of the S1-2 days, and the feeling of self-righteousness that brought to vocal fans, like they were on some untouchable moral high ground for liking cute ponies and thus were justified in using broad generalizations and insults on the dehumanized “Hater” masses. Similarly, they power tripped on being able to post ponies every-fuckin’-where, and did so liberally to the point where the fandom’s reputation as an “ironic fandom” made of shitposters and trolls only became harder to dispel by the sane ones around.
 
Let’s face it, to claim a fandom is above others in terms of how their fans act is counter-productive, it’s begging the extreme nutcases and negative elements to come forth and sink the whole thing. Case in point: the Rick and Morty “fandom”. Ughh.
 
So basically: What is also known as “Hipster Bronies”, the types that joined on a meta basis, couldn’t give a crap about MLP, but sure loved the reactions they got from being as obnoxious and loud as they could! Along with the actual extreme fans you could always count on to raise the bar on making a bad impression wherever they are.

If it weren’t for people posting ponies everywhere, I wouldn’t have ever cared enough to see what the big deal of ponies was about. And if it weren’t for a Rick and Morty episode being shown in place of a Samurai Jack one, I wouldn’t have had renewed interest in that series either.
 
While I was sad to see a few brony musicians and artists move onto Steven Universe, Five Nights at Freddies, Undertale and so on. I couldn’t blame them for following what was popular. For all I know, they might really be into that stuff as well.

Most of the people you described left in the period between the third and fourth season.
 
Also, the brony documentary which came out around that time did far more damage than it helped, because instead of being an outsider’s view into the show and fandom, it was mostly targeted towards people who were already fans in the first place.

And yes, it became quite clear that the documentary was anything but neutral and unbiased when you have a title with “extremely unexpected” in it.
