Well, as I discovered this thread, a headcanon I’m more, and more sick of, which seemingly a visible of people think is at least somewhat is canon, is the idea Starlight Glimmer is a yandere for Sunburst, and that the Uncommon Bond was about that, and/or that the episode confirms Starlight is in love with Sunburst
 
Most notably, it’s directly contradicted by Uncommon Bond itself - Starlight outright states there she is distressed as she thinks her friendship with Sunburst deteriorated as she no longer has anything in common with Sunburst, to the point everyone seemingly has more in common with him (and latter even says she would accept i Sunburst doesn;t want to be friends anymore). She pretty much states this in two heart to heart discussion with Twilight - which also debunks she is romantically and fanatically jealous, as she bleeds her heart out about this to Twilight, one of the ponies she’s supposedly sees as a romantic rival for Sunburst, and and is paranoid about her “steeling” him.
 
Twilight in the same episode explains also all of this, is due to the fact Starlight as usually “overdoes things”, which indeed is a running theme with Starlight.
 
It’s also irritating people further try to argue Starlight is obsessed with Sunburst, based on the fact him getting a cutie mark, started her fall into villainy - only that after that, Starlight didn’t show no signs of being obsessed with Sunburst specifically, just the injustice she saw in that past event. I mean, if Starlight was obsessed with Sunburst, she would definitely know were he lived, something she didn’t know, until Twilight found were Sunburst lives today - and we did see in Season 5 Starlight is willing to stalk people like Twilight in season 5, if she obsessed over them (if here from revenge, of course).
 
That’s not even mentioning how this headcanon, literally goes against the very themes of the show, ie with Starlight in it being romantically jealous of all of her closest female friends (Trixie, Twilight and Maud). Or how her being in this headcanon jealous romantically of Twilight and Sunburst, makes her seem particularly paranoid, stupid, and ungrateful (people seem to forget Sunburst and Starlight only met again thanks to Twilight, and in canon, Starlight owes her current life basically to Twilight, and is grateful to her for it.)
 
Sorry, this is a bit of a wall of text, but I felt I must also explain just how wrong this particular headcanon is. I have nothing against Suburst x Starlight, it’s just this headcanon is really for me going against the themes of the show as well people essentially because of it, present Starlight as a worse character.

Maybe I should post this on the “Unpopular opinion” thread but…I’m tired of these:

I just think of that episode from Spongebob where Plankton’s cousins visit, but one of them stays behind claiming he can’t read.

There’s one that’s not all that common but I still hate that suggests that teleportation always kills the caster and creates an exactly identical copy in their place every time they use it.
 
It was really dumb and needlessly dark, but it was mostly just one fanfic and a couple other fanfics that built on the idea.

By the way how many headcanons are there that’s pretty much only exist because people are just desperate for something to be not canon?

I think that’s the first time I’ve ever heard the idea of teleportation being a copy that kills the original.I mean I’ve heard it disintegrating the person and reassembling them but not actually killing them

For starters:  
-Starlight “not being reformed and is playing a long-game.” (And any other similar ones regarding reformations not being “true”, outside of Discord’s, that is.)

I’ve seen some ponyfics based on the idea (plus some making fun of it), but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone actually holding that as headcanon.

I’m really not a fan of the whole “Starlight gets friendzoned or cucked” thing because Sunburst and she are not even boyfriend/girlfriend lol. The cucking part is rare but it’s used mostly jokingly yet somehow used in some clopart (mainly in Sunburst crack pairings). It’s not as annoying as Forever Alone Cheerilee or Homewreaker Sugar Belle. XP

The scene during the first song in Best Gift Ever where Marble Pie sees Sugar Belle and Big Mac nuzzle each other. Marble appeared heartbroken.
 
There were numerous of memes of this including ones where Sugar Belle “stole” Marble’s man.
