How long should MLP go on for?

Time will tell on when it ends. We shall see.

I would say six more years.

As long as ponies remain inescapably viral on the internet, I’ll be fine.

According to “My Little Dashie”, it ends after 8 seasons.

I think it wont stop. I’m not say g4 will never end but look at how long mlp itself has lived for. not fim just mlp. it started in 80’s as toys and its still alive now so there just gonna change some stuff here and there but it’s gonna stick around in till kids stop liking horses.

I can see this show having gone for 9 seasons at the least, maybe around 12 at the most. They’ve done well in expanding the universe and adding new inhabitants to it each season so far, so there’s definitely some mileage left.

Since this thread’s title is asking how long MLP, no specifics, will last.
 
Maybe as a franchise, I’ll give it another couple decades.

Until this decade ends, so 2020. :,)
