Ghost Reviews 
So, I’ve not held back that I despise the Series Ender with a passion. However, I’ve neglected to articulate why I hate it so much. So, I’m going to list them below with reasons and examples.
1: Plot Holes- Now, MLP is no stranger to plot holes, but the Season Ender had at least one or two big ones. Tirek says that none of them could handle Discord’s magic, even though he handled it quite well before. This isn’t just a simple mistake, it’s feels like they purposefully ignored the past episodes to write this one. Also, having Discord be the one to suggest petrification goes against his character greatly. Remember when he said that “He doesn’t turn ponies into stone”?
2: Plot Twist- The Discord is Grogar plot twist wasn’t too bad, but it wasn’t set up properly. I know that they tried to drop hints before the end, but none of them FELT like hints. Discord saying that Twilight was “Ready for whatever comes next” just sounded like Discord’s usual self banter. Grogar not telling his past fully also didn’t feel out of place because we didn’t know what he was like, so him being mysterious was just chalked up to character, not a hint to the future.
3: Misuse of villains/ Setups- This is one that really ticked me off. All throughout the season, Tirek and Cozy were shown to be the ones who could reform. They’re the ones who said that teamwork was usefull, and let’s not forget when Tirek saved a falling bird. And as for their fate, it just felt tacked on at the end and lazy. Plus, it was only Chrysalis who promised to return, not the other two. Yet, it was treated as if she was talking for all 3 of them.
4: Future designs- Now, I have no problem with Twilight’s design. It’s what Faust wanted and it just felt expected. I don’t, however, like the designs of the other characters. Spike is just poorly proportioned and looks ugly. The rest of the main 6 just look tired. Adding bags under the eyes doesn’t automatically mean that they’re old. I will admit, their mane styles were decent, at least.
5: Too ambiguous- An epilogue is meant to tie up loose ends and answer questions. However, this one just left more questions than answers. Quite literally, the only answer was Pinkie’s relationship. The writers said that they wanted to leave it open ended for the fanfics, but to me it just sounds like they got lazy.
Now, I won’t deny that there was good in it, but these problems I’ve listed just outweigh the positives. I think the main problem is that we were promised a good ending, and yet it just felt like a mediocre ending, with more problems than an ending should have
