Heck, I remember she got way more hate back in the Season 3 “Twilicorn drama/The Twilight Show” days, I hardly see any fans hate on her nowadays, and the show staff still love her, and Tara Strong. Comical brief things like “being turned into a baby” is not “torture,” and does not mean the staff hates her… Do the creators of “Roger Rabbit” hate him for all the goofy things that happen to him?
 
Every character has fan-haters, but Twilight doesn’t have as many as you think. (Just because you see like 50 people hating her does not mean the rest of the thousands & thousands of fans do, as well.)  
If anything, I see other characters get waaay more hate. Especially Starlight Glimmer, whom honestly is way more controversial a character even to this day. (Just the other day, I saw an admin here refering to her as “Starlight-Sue,” and openly hating her. Meanwhile, I never once saw an admin here insult or bash Twilight.)

I feel bad that I haven’t really felt a lot of hype for this season even though I feel like I should, since this is the end of FIM.

Goddamn, I never realized the amount of vitriol and hatred Scoot’s parents would get. I don’t like them either but Jesus, calm your tits man.

Yeah, it’s really freaking excessive and astonishing too, considering a certain other parent whom I really haven’t seen any hate toward (unless I haven’t been looking hard enough that is).

Like, I expected from the start that her aunts would be controversial, especially from the people outside the fandom but her parents? As far as I can tell, there’s been far worse parents in fiction than them and yet Mane and Snap are still seen like these horrible abusive monsters.

At the most they’re neglectful and oblivious, but they do truly care about Scootaloo.

They do care a lot about her, so it does come off as odd that they get so much flack and yeah, there are worst parents in fiction and even in the show (I’m looking right at you, Spoiled).

Jim Miller at page 5 of his farewell letter: “I’m so happy we’ve managed to give the Mane 6 and their boy Spike a proper send-off, and IMO, a very satisfying one”. Nice. I don’t need to hear more. I’m sold on the finale.
 
 
…. still, I remain uncertain if to watch all the other eps that will come in the meantime. I will surely watch the Cheese Sandwich one and the next villains one. The others… I don’t know… I just can’t handle to see Twilight “tortured” by the time the finale arrives, she’s already been throught a lot of it in the last six months, and as a big fan of her, I just can’t handle it anymore…

The cameo of Flim and Flam not in a good shape in the last episode’s song made me thinking: Jim Miller said in his farewell letter, that while they managed to give the Mane 6 and Spike a satisfying ending, there were some other things they wished to cover but they couldn’t. Was that cameo an implication of something like that?

I admit that I was quite exaggerated about Twilight’s freakouts in the last days. You’re right, they weren’t exaggerated as the ones of the early seasons, and they were actually quite funny. Still, the problems I’m having with them are two:  
1)They happened all together;  
2)After having received unnecessary hate for whatever reason during S7 and S8 despite her good performance, and after having been clobbered by Raven in that fanmade video, having been corrupted and fused with the villain in that IDW comics arc, and having turned into a baby during the S8-S9 hiatus, her general reputation is currently walking on thin ice, and the timing of those freakouts was really bad. And as a big fan of the character all of this is making me really nervous, and I feel that only the series finale doing justice to her could make me feel better…

Is it just me or is the Fallout Equestria thread dead? For the last few days it’s just been me complaining about the more bullshit moments in Remains.
 
Relatedly, I miss when artists did fun things like adventure comics. Now it’s just screencaps and intercourse with the odd vector. I don’t think there’s been a single piece of new fanfic art except Fallout: Equestria, Fo:E Project Horizons, and Cupcakes at all this year and we’re nearly halfway through. And I can’t remember the last time I saw a SFW YCH except for the two Brainiac made…

On the fanfic situation, if you put “fanfic:*” into a tag search and check each tag that comes up, The Last Pony on Earth is the first one that didn’t get any art uploaded here this year, so I guess I underestimated how much gets made. Though outside Fallout Equestria it’s not that common.

I mean technically a lot of the stuff I make is fanfic art but I don’t share them so it doesn’t matter actually ignore me.

So I’ve heard from others that have seen Sunset’s Backstage Pass early (How is it in English already if its released in Mexico?) that while the Dazzlings are back, they aren’t redeemed. Fantastic. Now all my remaining interest in Equestria Girls has died and my anger towards Discord getting redeemed over the villains I want to be redeemed instead grows more.

Kinda a shallow reason to hate a character/series really, (and frankly, it’s not like they’ve been “nicer” then Discord, and therefore more “deserving”) no offense. You might as well hate Sunset, Starlight, Trixie, and such reformed characters too.  
And frankly, I’m fine with them not being redeemed, as honestly not every antagonist has to be just because they’re “adorable/pretty.“

I’m terrible at asking for pony commissions and even explaining what I want, when I really don’t know what I want. I’ve only asked for one in my whole experience.
 
I’d like to get a commission from one of my favorite artists, but I don’t think they do commissions, just patreon.
