Personally, my guess is that episodes 24 & 25 will be the “true” finale while episode 26 is an epilogue episode of sorts.

It’s either complete shite adventure arc or completely forgettable and pointless SoL stuff like last issue. There’s no middle ground for them.

I dunno, some of the adventures weren’t bad. I liked the very first “Return of Queen Chrysalis” arc, and the “Nightmare Rarity” arc.  
Not all the SOL stuff is necessarily bad either, though I admit I’m a bit more partial to the earlier ones, and the old Micro issues.
 
Not saying everything new is bad, mind you.

Yeah, remember back when the show went “bad,” and people hailed the IDW series as superior in every way?  
The brony fanbase is honestly very fickle.
 
As for the manga, it doesn’t look that bad, it’s at least has cute art, and a sense of humor like the show, and IDW series.

The comic still has decent issues now and then, unless it tries to be serious. Cosmo’s arc is probably the worst stuff they have published since Reflections.

Back then the comic used to be genuinely good, or at least had less glaring screwups. Compare Rarity’s Micro with newer comic issues and it still comes as a much better story, art and script wise.

Some episodes have been unbearably dweeby to watch.
 
All I hope for G5 is they keep the same characters.
