I like Discord.  
I can understand why out of all characters, he’s the one who needs to be constantly dumbed down so he isn’t always fixing everything before the second act.

I’m calling bullshit on you all.

If there’s one character that I didn’t like and that I’m glad they haven’t returned is Star Tracker.

He’s nothing compared to sludge, demn he better not even cameo.

The difference is that Sludge was created to be hated on purpose, so he’s a hate sink. Star Tracker was created to actually be a character to be realistic and all that, but I found his behavior way too off-putting to me.

Star tracker seems normal to me, besides he did defend Twilight near the end of that episode.

I found him way too creepy for me and just annoying.

I dunno what’s wrong with me. I feel like all the things that the majority of fans on the forums care about, I don’t. Like, I’m more interested in the Student 6 and Starlight than the Mane 6 in some regards.
 
I have no particular strong interest in either of the latest two episodes, and I feel like that’s HERASY.

I’m the same way too. I’ve been liking the Student Six and Starlight more than the Mane 6, but I still do love the latter.

Especially if it is done in a way to screw over tying up loose ends for other characters.

It’s the whole “resolving loose plot threads” and “giving them the send off that they deserve” or something. I mean yeah they’re the main characters and should get more episodes because I believe that more stories can be made out of them, but I’ve been liking the focus on the others lately.

Whatever Filly Funtasia is up to they’re going to help us either way, this will divert the younger audience to a different show and another channel all together.
 
It isn’t a sure thing but this will allow MLP to focus on the older viewers.
 
 
What we’ll have is a split audience for two different shows.

If that was their plan then they pretty much failed, considering this is already the final season it won’t change anything not even the jokes. Even when 90% of the audience are bronies, it is still a kids show.

Isn’t Filly Funtasia dead anyway? I don’t think it’s been stealing much of MLP’s thunder, aside from a few ex-bronies claiming they prefer it out of spite/trolling.
 
And splitting the viewership, or lowering the younger audience isn’t a good thing, as let’s face it, it’s a kid’s show, and they’re the main audience.  
When Disney’s new Tron series gained too many adult fans, and not enough kids watching, they cancelled it.
 
And frankly I don’t really want MLP to focus only on the older-audience, or add minor swears, fart-jokes, political-leanings, and such B.S. that pollutes most older-audience cartoons.
