I stick to sites where I know I can avoid these things – here, Fimfiction, Tv Tropes – and I police my tumblr searches to make sure I don’t stumble across these things by accident, which is usually how I get spoiled.
I actually don’t do so badly off this site. I’ve never cared for social media in any capacity, and since I don’t have accounts with Facebook, twitter, tumblr, or any of those sorts of things, I pretty much never have to worry about them spoiling me. In a bit of irony, this site is where I actually have the most concern. I usually run with everything visible because… reasons, but as a nameless, account-less background user I don’t have the option for complicated filter that takes out only the new season stuff. So as you might expect, every so often, I go to the main page and see something I didn’t want to see.
Actually, why isn’t there a universal filter for just removing leaked content? That seems like something people who don’t like to make accounts (like myself) could potentially be interested in.
Anyway, since this site is about 90% of the socializing I do in a normal day, not coming here isn’t a great option, so I do my best to avoid the leak tag and just bide my time.

I just end up reading stuff I don’t mean to and then bitch about it to other staff. [aside glance emoticon i cannot be bothered to google search to copypaste]
I hate unintentional spoilers. I can’t tell you how annoyed I’ve been at times when YouTube decides I must be interested in some spoiler laden video and throws that up as a “recommended” option. And how is it that the thumbnail is always the exact scene that reveals the most? It’s uncanny I tell you.
