It’s been months since I got to watch an episode as it airs. And it’s a Sisters episode isn’t it?

Wow, villains episode.
 
Something that I wasn’t spoiled on for once. :O

Villain episode. Just as good.

Oh, so they’re going to a farm upstate where they can play with all the other princesses.

Huh those security measures worked.

That’s a lot of continuity.

Oh sure, we’ll get cheerleader smolder art, but where’s all my cheerleader discord art?

I like that Twilight freaks out over a quiz game but not becoming princess

I don’t think that’s how books work.

That was a nice episode.
 
But what the hell are Equestrian books made of? I mean, Castle of the Two Sisters had books that had been exposed to the elements for thousand years and were still perfectly fine, but still…

A really good episode. All time great? Nah. But that’s perfectly fine, it’s an episode content with being very good and playing it safe. It’s nice to have episodes like that sometimes.

Which is more prone to disaster on a high scale?

One of the best episodes of the season, if not the series. It did everything right. They covered multiple prior-episode callbacks like the wind turbines, door locks, geese, and twilighting. Discord being a troll, the M5+1 trying to do the right thing, the villains being fairly intelligent. No holes as far as I can see.
 
A little surprised at how fast the unicorns chanted attitudes, but they only have 22 minutes. And the moonwriting ended up being more impressive than the fireworks anyway.

As much as I liked A Trivial Pursuit, I can’t deny the facts; this episode wrote Twilight’s character the RIGHT way.

The episode itself was good.
 
The concept of “developing” a character by upping their flaw up to eleven so that they’re forced to undergo a radical and instant change to their personality isn’t. This episode managed to make Trivial even worse now that it reveals that it was all just a ploy to justify lobotomizing away her anxiety overnight.
 
It really does feel like a case of the staff trying to have their cake and eat it: showcase a “Twilighting Best Hits” by having her cross into insanity territory, then pull back hard all the way back and suddenly make it all vanish. Those two episodes did not belong right next to one another, especially with another character assassination episode right before.

Like, has no one noticed Tirek and Cozy are gone from their cages, or is this all just part of a massive cover-up?

I actually somewhat agree.
 
I still like A Trivial Pursuit, but the whole intentions behind turning Twilight all the way up to 11 just to negate it in the very next episode is a poor writing decision.

Applejack proves to be best pony yet again. Also, she was again the first to apologize, even though her idiot friends were the ones who didn’t listen to her in the first place. I love AJ. ;P
 
Also, I’m just a little bit disturbed that it would apparently be that easy to start a revolt among unicorns. You’d honestly think most of them would be well-adjusted and have already had thoughts about their potential. What on earth were these idiots thinking? At best, this bit of idiocy would have simply landed them in jail.
 
And how exactly is it that people don’t know who Cozy is? Shouldn’t she be on some sort of Equestria’s Most Wanted list or something? I mean, they do know she escaped Tartarus, right? Also, Chysalis still has the ability to cast magic to manipulate people, right? I kinda feel like that’s something she could have used here.
 
Pretty good episode, though.
