Looks like promotional material from Hasbro mentions Sparkle’s Seven, the only place it still is Twilight’s is in outdated material.

Guess they’re advancing faster than we can blink. First they need to launch their own Sputnik before they can send their own Yuri Gagarin.

Well, if they disliked her, Starlight would… probably be in a different place, being Put on a Bus optimistically.
 
Plus the writers of this one have had her get important roles before, like in Shadow Play.

The ‘Writers’ are Tabitha, Andrea, Angela, Cathy and Tara. Who aren’t exactly super involved with the production.
 
Notice how the only siblings who played a role were Fluttershy’s, Pinkie’s and Twilight’s? Tara Strong and Andrea Libman are I’m pretty sure the only cast members who actually follow the show and have watched a finished episode.

the animation in this episode is super good and snappy.

Hey so why after 8 seasons of the Princess’s getting captured and Canterlot taken are they only NOW reinforcing the Castle? Should this have been a thing like at best after Chrysalis (the first time), if not sooner?

So… do you think the ”Threats from within” line was possibly forshadowing the finale?

I’m sure it was mentioned that Josh Haber and Nicole Dubuc just wrote the teleplay, ie they adapted what was messily scrawled on beer mats into something actually filmable. The story was all the voice actresses.

Oh yeah, the finale…the final finale. :(

To be fair, we did see Rainbow Dash in an astronaut costume in Scare Master, but I would have thought it meant that space travel was a popular science fiction concept.

I just can’t help but think they wouldn’t have given her such a cold brush-off in their special episode unless they either didn’t care much for her, or if they weren’t just sick of her :P

Just popping in real quick to ask a question that I’ve had for a while.
 
What exactly stopped the Everfree Forest from overtaking Ponyville? The Mane 6 was fighting it for hours until they left Celestia, Luna and Starswirl to fight it back. We never got an explanation for why it stopped and when asked about it in Uprooted, Spike just says that they “got it under control”.
 
Did they just leave Starswirl to continuously fight the forest or what?

The synopsis of this episode was very different from how it actually played out, I had thought that all of the mane six were all going to compete against their siblings.

this was a fun episode. i’m not sure this is exactly 200th episode worthy tho.

It’s not like Discord, Trixie, the CMC, Big Mac, Granny Smith or… hell, almost the entire supporting cast played any sort of role.
